I’m just your average college student, if your average college student makes weekly (or biweekly, or triweekly) pilgrimages to the cinema, spends an average of two hours nightly watching television, and will ask for paper extensions just to watch the Oscars. Okay, so I may have never done the third of those things, but it’s a legitimate possibility!

My status as a certified filmaholic stems from an unhealthy obsession at an early age with Admiral Ackbar, Dr. Beverly Crusher, “Animaniacs,” Hayao Miyazaki, “Seinfeld,” and popcorn. Today my filmaholism (that’s totally coming soon to the O.E.D.) is apparent in my love of everything from comedy to drama, from Hollywood to indie, from computer animation to the classics.
